Michelle started her career at Praxis Care as a support worker before moving into an administrative role, but she has always maintained her training and registration to provide direct care whenever needed. Her colleagues describe her as reliable, approachable, and deeply committed to person-centered support.
From accompanying individuals to appointments to helping them navigate complex systems like banking and benefits, Michelle ensures that everyone she supports feels heard, respected, and empowered. She embodies integrity in every task, big or small, and is always willing to go the extra mile for her colleagues and the people we support.

When Michelle found out she had been recognised, she was “completely shocked” – but also delighted that her work had been noticed and appreciated. She sees the award as a lovely gesture of recognition for the care and effort she brings to her role every day.
