Supporting Mental Health in Northern Ireland
Praxis Care has been supporting individuals affected by mental ill health for over 30 years. We support people who experience a variety of challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder and personality disorders.
We believe that anyone living with mental ill health should be supported in their recovery journey, in a community setting that works for them, to live the life they choose. We provide a range of accommodation and support services, including; supported living, domiciliary care, day activity and befriending services.
The befriending services are particularly effective for people who have all the practical skill for community living, but experience loneliness and isolation helping to address these issues.
A great day out with a few of the guys from our Banbridge services. 🌲
They walked close to 4 miles around Tollymore Forest Park, taking time to unwind, reconnect with nature and enjoy being out and about together.
From spotting Dippers, Mallards and Cormorants to finishing up with caramel squares and coffee, it was a lovely way to explore one of the area’s hidden gems! ☕✨
