Volunteers will be subject to the relevant police check, reference checks and informal ‘interview’. Any volunteer activity will only commence once these checks have been deemed clear.
An AccessNI Enhanced Disclosure Check will be required for positions in Northern Ireland.
A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
