Referrals
Referrals for most services are made through professionals such as statutory keyworkers, commissioners, GPs and social workers.
Thie Quinney is a supported living service for up to nine adults, located in Ramsey, Isle of Man, dedicated to helping individuals with physical disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries live as independently as possible.
We offer 24/7 support from a dedicated team, ensuring residents receive the assistance they need while maintaining their independence.
The accommodation consists of individual ground-level flats, each featuring a private bedroom, bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. These flats are situated within a communal building, where staff are available around the clock. Residents also have access to shared spaces, including a communal lounge and kitchen.
At Thie Quinney, we are committed to supporting residents in developing important life skills such as cooking, housekeeping, and budgeting. Additionally, we promote their overall well-being through exercise, participation in community activities, and assistance in accessing local public services, including transportation. We also offer support in attending medical appointments and other essential engagements.
Outreach Support
Attached to our supported living service, our outreach support service provides community based support to 30 people with physical disability / acquired brain injury in their own homes across the island.
