Portadown Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)Services provide specialist supported living for adults with a learning disability and complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge.
The service supports six individuals across four community-based homes in the Portadown area. The team uses Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches guided by detailed observation, data collection and reflective practice.
Support is designed around each person’s preferences, communication style and routines. This may include:
- Personal care and daily living skills
- Emotional and behavioural support
- Building community connections
- Support with health appointments and wellbeing
All support plans are regularly reviewed and adapted based on evidence and outcomes.
Referrals are made via the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.
