Plasden Court is a supported accommodation service for adults located in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
We support adults who have an enduring mental ill health and who require a high level of flexible, person-centred support in the community. This is a temporary accommodation, with the expected duration of stay to be approximately 2 years.
We provide a Flat Cluster of groups of flats with staff support in on site 24/7. Each individual flat consists of a separate kitchen and living area, bedroom and bathroom. Communal lounge areas are also included.
Plasden Court is in close proximity to South Manchester Hospital. There are good transport links, with a tram a 5 minute walk away and a bus stop at the end of the road. Plasden Court is close to local shops and a bus ride away from supermarkets and a local civic centre.
We have a regular cooking group, art group, walking groups, and tenants’ meetings.
This service is funded by Manchester City Council.
Many of our referrals are from individuals in acute inpatient wards or in a forensic setting. Referrals can be made by professionals such as care co-ordinators with CMHTs, early intervention teams and hospital teams.
