North Down and Ards Mental Health Supported Living Services provide a range of flexible support options for adults living with mental ill health across Bangor and Newtownards.
The service includes:
- A cluster of six self-contained apartments: With 24/7 onsite staff support.
- DISH (Dispersed Intensively Supported Housing): Support delivered to individuals living in four ordinary houses in the local community. Staff provide tailored visits throughout the day based on individual needs.
- Home Response: A lower-level outreach service offering short visits and wellbeing check-ins for people living independently across the area.
We support people experiencing a range of mental health needs, including those with a dual diagnosis (mental ill health and a learning disability).
Our team helps individuals to:
- Build and maintain daily routines
- Manage their mental health and access healthcare
- Maintain tenancies and develop life skills
- Connect with social and community opportunities
