Lurgan Dispersed Intensively Supported Housing (DISH) Supported Living is a housing support service based in Lurgan, providing care and support for up to 21 adults with complex needs, including mental ill health, in their own homes.
The service delivers intensive housing support seven days a week, from 9am to 9pm, focused on maximising independence with housing-related tasks.
Support is personalised through individual support plans that are regularly reviewed to ensure effectiveness. Assistance includes:
- Setting up and maintaining a home
- Staying safe
- Emotional wellbeing and physical health
- Managing money and benefits advice
- Developing independent living skills, such as meal planning
- Building positive relationships, support networks, and community connections
- Accessing social and recreational activities
This service is funded by Supporting People and the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.
This service is funded by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, the Supporting People programme, and through self-funding. Referrals are accepted from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, including the Community Mental Health Team. Support is voluntary and requires the person’s willingness to engage.
