Locke House offers a range of housing and support options for adults living with mental ill health and/or a learning disability in Portadown. The service supports people aged 19 and over to live independently, with tailored support based on individual needs.
The service includes:
- A single-site supported living setting: 14 self-contained apartments and 24/7 on-site staff.
- DISH (Dispersed Intensively Supported Housing): community-based homes where 17 individuals receive planned, flexible support during the day while living in their own tenancies.
- Bespoke support: a smaller-scale, personalised service for 3 individuals with complex needs, supported in homes across the Portadown area.
Across all parts of the service, individuals are supported to:
- Build daily living skills and routines
- Maintain their tenancies
- Access health services and manage wellbeing
- Develop confidence, social skills, and community connections
Regular social activities, drop-in evenings, and peer support opportunities are available to help build relationships and reduce isolation.
This service is funded by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust and the Supporting People programme. Referrals are made through the Southern Health and Social Care Trust by statutory professionals.
