Lisburn Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Services provide highly individualised supported living for adults with a learning disability and complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge.
The service currently supports two individuals living in separate homes across the Lisburn area. Each person has their own tenancy and receives support that is tailored to their communication style, preferences and daily routines. A high staff ratio ensures consistent, person-centred care and safety.
The team uses PBS principles, drawing on evidence-informed strategies to promote well-being, independence, and meaningful outcomes.
Support may include:
- Personal care and household tasks
- Communication and emotional regulation
- Daily structure and routine
- Access to community activities and healthcare
Referrals are accepted from relevant professionals within health and social care services.
