Banbridge Supported Living Services offers supported accommodation and floating support services for adults with mental ill health in Banbridge town.
The service includes:
- Group House: Shared communal living and kitchen facilities, with individual bedrooms and 24/7 staff support, providing care and support to seven adults.
- Flat Cluster: Six self-contained apartments, each with a kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom, with staff support available nearby 24/7.
- Bungalow: A three-bedroom bungalow supporting up to three adults.
- Floating Support: Short-term, outreach-style support delivered to individuals in their own homes across the community, supporting up to 25 adults to maximise independence with housing-related tasks.
Banbridge Supported Living is located close to the Banbridge GP surgery, Health Care Village, leisure centre, local shops, and public transport.
Support includes medication management, budgeting, meal preparation, shopping, daily living tasks, and emotional wellbeing. Staff also facilitate workshops reflecting residents’ interests such as gardening, baking, art, and walking groups to promote engagement and skill development.
This service is funded by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, the Supporting People programme, and through self-funding.
Referrals can be made by professionals such as statutory keyworkers, GPs and social workers.
