Leap Into Action Day harnesses the extra day gifted to us in the leap year to make a difference! Individuals and companies have an opportunity to contribute their time, skills and positive energy to our various locations throughout Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man and England.
At Praxis Care, we believe in the power of community and the positive impact we can make when we come together. Leap Into Action Day is a call to action for anyone willing to roll up their sleeves, share their skills or organise fundraising activities to support our mission of providing care services for individuals with mental ill health, learning disabilities and autism.
Volunteering is fun and fulfilling. Don’t just take our word for it.
David James Robert Logue, a volunteer from Danske Bank, shared, “What a fantastic facility they have for their tenants, and the staff we met were equally as fantastic. We had a wonderful day filled with lots of fun and 100% hard work.”
Lynda Bell, another dedicated volunteer from Danske Bank, expressed her joy in volunteering at Castle Lane in Lurgan, saying, “A few of the tenants were eager to help and the banter and interaction were fantastic. Some great stories kept us all in fine spirits! We look forward to returning here in the future.”
