Ciara plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the service each day. From coordinating with her manager and team leaders, to supporting staff, engaging with families, and overseeing daily activities, no two days are the same. Known as a “jack of all trades,” Ciara is always on hand—whether that’s administering medication, responding to incidents, or liaising with external partners and property teams to keep everything running effectively.
Her proactive approach and strong communication help create a supportive, well-organised environment where both staff and individuals we support can thrive.

“I was quite surprised but absolutely delighted,” Ciara shares. “It’s a lovely feeling to be recognised in the company and hopefully an incentive to the rest of the team.”

A Journey into Care
Ciara began her career journey after gaining experience interacting with services supporting individuals with additional needs. Inspired by these experiences, she completed an SNA course and joined Praxis Care in 2021 as an Activity Facilitator. Since then, she has grown into her role as Team Leader, bringing passion and commitment to everything she does.

What keeps Ciara going, even on challenging days, is the people we support. She is deeply committed to ensuring they receive the best possible care and leads by example, fostering strong relationships within her team and creating a culture of support and accountability.
