Joining Diversity Mark

Our Team Will Be Working Towards Diversity Mark Accreditations

We are excited to announce that we have signed up to join Diversity Mark as part of our commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace and we will be working towards an accreditation.

Andy Mayhew, CEO of Praxis Care, says that signing up to Diversity Mark affirms the organisation’s pledge to be a forward-looking employer.

“Working with Diversity Mark is an important step for us. We want this to be a recognition of our significant interest in progressing diversity and inclusion throughout all areas of the charity. The individuals we support every day come from diverse backgrounds and we want the staff who work alongside them every day to reflect that diversity, as well.

“We’re really looking forward to working towards our Diversity Mark accreditations and learning how we can become an even more progressive and inclusive employer.”

Nuala Murphy, Director at Diversity Mark added: “Diversity Mark are thrilled to have Praxis Care join us as signatories and work towards accreditation for their commitment to Diversity and Inclusion. As the largest registered care charity in Northern Ireland, we welcome their commitment to progress and know it will inspire other organisations in the sector to follow suit.”

Diversity Mark is the awarding body of the Diversity Mark Accreditation. It offers accreditation, expert support and guidance to organisations that are navigating the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) landscape. Diversity Mark is committed to helping organisations make a positive impact on people’s lives by transforming culture and attitudes for the better.
