“I enjoy the involvement of the service users in community activities such as their voluntary work. Voluntary work is a big part of activities for our service users as it is involvement and belonging in the community and helps build up community relationships. It’s great to be part of this and help our service users engage in the activity and watch them engage so well. I enjoy helping our service users build their independence by engaging in different activities that they have chosen and help achieve their goals. I feel it is rewarding to be part of the service users day to day activities and help build up life skills and community relationships by being there to support everyone. By delivering support and care to the service users day to day then I get to be part of their growth in the community, help to develop personal centred plans and make their own choices.”
