Magherafelt DISH

Magherafelt DISH is a housing support service for adults located in Magherafelt.

We support adults with complex needs, such as mental ill health.

We provide intensive housing support 7 days a week 9am-9pm delivered to individuals in their homes to maximise independence with housing-related support.

People will have an individual support plan that will be regularly reviewed to make sure we are still helpful. We can help with:

• Setting up and maintaining your home
• Staying Safe
• Emotional wellbeing & physical health
• Managing money/benefits advice
• Developing independent living skills – meal planning
• Build positive relationships/ support networks and the local community
• Support to gain access to other social, recreational activities

This service is funded by Supporting People and the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.

Referral Process Referrals are accepted from members of the Northern Health & Social Care Trust including Community Mental Health Team.  Support is on a voluntary basis and the person must want to engage with the service.
