Magherafelt service is a mental health service for adults located in Magherafelt and Cookstown.
We provide support for individuals who have experienced mental ill health or mental health issues and who reside within a property and require housing-related support. Staff are available from 9 am to 9 pm, Monday – Sunday, and the service can offer support for up to 15 individuals.
The service provide a tailored range of communal activities throughout the year, including gardening, craft and cookery opportunities, weekly walking groups. With the aim of social activities is to reduce social isolation and to help develop individuals spark interest and build on existing skills on a range of areas.
Referrals can be made by professionals such as staff within Loughview Resource centre or Cookstown Mental Health Team (or indeed any Health and Social Care trust, should an individual be planning to move to a differing area)
