Coombe House is a specialist nurse led service for adults with profound learning and physical disabilities and associated complex health needs. We also provide palliative and end of life care and are working towards Gold Standard Framework accreditation.
The service offers accommodation for up to 12 residents in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
- We are a 24-hour nurse led service with registered nurses covering the 24-hour period
- Our competencies include continence care, dementia specialist care, medication management, enteral feeding, division of comprehensive and bespoke care planning and risk assessing, effective communication, tracheostomy care and epilepsy management
- Residents have access to a wide range of activities of their choice which are organised by Coombe House’s Activity Coordinator; reflexology, massage therapy, multi-sensory facilities, games, bingo, arts and crafts, sing-a-long karaoke, films and theatre visits and meals out. Activities regularly include families and close friends.
Coombe House is beautiful Edwardian building set in a landscaped gardens in a quiet side street. We are less than a mile from the local town and attractions.
Referrals can be made by professionals from the Acute Trust, GPs, The Community Learning Disability Team, Brokerage (local council) and families as required. Out of county referrals are also accepted.
