SERVICES OFFERED: Autism, Intellectual Disabilities
Avalon is a residential centre, which supports individuals with an intellectual disability and/or autism through the provision of the residential service model.
The centre is located in the town of Navan in a residential housing development within 5 minutes walking distance to the local amenities.
The centre is comprised of two semi-detached houses accommodating up to 4 adults. Each house is comprised of a kitchen, living area which will be shared while residents have their own bedroom and en-suite. The Centre is registered with HIQA. The centre is staffed by a manager, team leaders and support staff who provide support 24/7.
There are five other Praxis Care services in the Meath Area, four residential services namely Swan House & Meenalig, Grange Bective, Slane Road and one Day Service in Navan.
The service is funded by the HSE and referrals can be made by them also.
