We were delighted to welcome Áine Flynn, Director of the Decision Support Service (DSS), and her colleague Patsy Fitzsimons to present to families and staff about the upcoming implementation of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015. The well-attended Zoom session included information about how capacity will be determined and other details about how assisted decision-making will (and won’t) work once the Act is in place.
