The 2018 World Mental Health Day focused on young people and mental health in a changing world.
1 in 10 children have no one to talk to in school when they are worried or sad, and more and more school children are struggling to cope with their mental health.
At Praxis Care, we decided to host a range of events to raise awareness of mental health and work towards breaking the stigma surrounding the issue, as well as promoting positive and good mental health overall.
The Praxis Care team visited Coleraine College on Wednesday 10th October to raise awareness and discuss tips with students to strengthen their mental health.
We are also held informational stands at the Northern Regional College Magherafelt, Coleraine and Ballymoney campuses.
All events were very well received and it was a great way to get young people talking about mental health.
